2006 saw the release of Bright Crystal, a fruitier and lighter scent by Versace. Which had debuted its glitzy crystal-inspired fragrance line in 2004 with Crystal Noir. “A crystal that turns into a diamond,” Yellow Diamond, is the name of a new scent that debuted with the collection in 2011. With a luxury and feminine touch akin to a diamond,
Yellow Diamond is a pure, transparent, and light floral fragrance that is as vivid and glittering as the color yellow. Lime, bergamot, neroli, and pear sorbet provide a bright, refreshing opening to the composition. Features include water lilies, freesia, mimosa, and airy orange blossoms in the heart. Amber, priceless musk, and guaiac wood make up the basic material.
The bottle is shaped like the earlier iterations of the collection and is painted yellow, with baroque decorations adorning its box. Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw, who was photographed in Paris by Mario Testino, serves as the campaign’s face.
